The Central Alborz Mountains

The Takht-e Soleyman Massif is the highest part of the Alborz Mountains in northern Iran apart from Mount Damavand which can be seen in the background. It contains various peaks above 4000m, the highest being the Alam Kuh (4850m).

The five pictures of the Alborz Mountains on your website are excellent! They are both beautiful and informative. I hope you put up more pictures of this mountain chain. Some which give even more detail.\\r\\n\\r\\nI find the Alborz Mountains to be a very interesting region geographically and historically. \\r\\nThank you.\\r\\nMike
