The Fedchenko Glacier

The Fedchenko Glacier in the Pamir Mountains in Tajikistan is commonly believed to be the longest glacier outside the polar regions with a length of 77km. This view shows the glacier from north with the Pamir Plateau behind and the highest peaks of the Karakoram mountains visible at the horizon.
