This week i was at the FOSSGIS conference where i gave a talk on generalization of OpenStreetMap data. Talk and slides are in German. You can also find a video recording of this talk as well as from most of the other talks from the conference on the FOSSGIS wiki.

In preparation of the talk i worked somewhat more on the glaciers generalization and put up the glaciers_gen tool on github last weekend. Documentation is still somewhat basic though.
