Peter Selinger has released a new version of potrace which contains a new backend I have written to generate GeoJSON output.  This simplifies use of potrace for geographic applications which previously required to convert from eps or dxf files.

I use potrace for converting the output of my coastline generalization tool.

To demonstrate how potrace can be used for geodata processing i also put up a simple wrapper script geotiff2shp.
